Passport Validity: Check the expiration date of your passport and ensure it remains valid for the duration of your travel, including the return journey. Your required to have minimum six months from the date of your arrival (7th July 2026 onwards).
Travel Documentation (Visa): The annual E-Visa for entry into Makkah and Madinah is already included in the registration fee you paid. You should have received a copy of this prior to your departure. Flight Schedule: Arrive promptly at the designated meeting point at Manchester Airport. Departure times are scheduled for Wednesday 7th January 13:30, so aim to be present by 09:00 AM to facilitate a hassle-free check-in process. Ensure you have ample time to complete airport formalities and assemble with the main group. Please report to the Core team at arrival.

Luggage allowance: Your checked in baggage allowance is 2 x 23kg (1x23kg is your bike 1x23kg is your suitcase), hand luggage (cabin luggage is 8kg (55 x 40 x 23). Don’t leave money in hand luggage.
Please note one of your 23kg will be your bike box. Do not bring a large rucksack; a small bag which needs to fit underneath the seat (laptop size bag).
Zam Zam Water: Allowed to bring one 5 litre Zam Zam Water. You will be able to get this at the Madina Airport.
In-Flight Preparations: Familiarise yourself with your airline’s specific regulations regarding the transport of bicycles and cycling equipment. All baggage must comply with weight restrictions, and your bike box must not exceed 23kg. Ensure your gear is securely packed and meets the airline’s guidelines for carriage.
Clothing Attire for Flight: Please wear either the official Hijrah Hoodie or Tech Shirt for the flight. This is important for group visibility, sponsor promotion, and video documentation. Your cooperation helps us present a unified and professional image.
Group Assembly: Upon arrival at Manchester Airport, proceed directly to the designated meeting point to join fellow participants and team organisers. This allows for a coordinated check-in process and ensures timely boarding as a group.
Communication: Keep the contact details of the Core Team readily accessible for any last-minute updates or unforeseen circumstances. In the event of travel disruptions or delays, prompt communication is essential to allow for necessary adjustments to the itinerary.
