Hijrah Lead - The spiritual and emotional journey this ride offers to every rider, including myself, inspired me to support Hijrah 2026 once again. Witnessing brothers unite with the shared purpose of following the footsteps of our Prophet(ﷺ) and raising funds for Palestine was an opportunity I couldn't resist. There is still a significant amount of work needed in Palestine, especially in Gaza. If we can raise an amount close to the c£300k achieved for Hijrah 2025, we can help restore some dignity and normality to their lives. In following the noble example of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW), who always upheld justice, compassion, and unity, we fulfil our duty to care for one another. Together, through our prayers, actions, and contributions, we can bring hope and strength to those facing hardship.

This year’s Hijrah Ride felt as a one in a lifetime opportunity combining both my hobby and faith. Upon returning back home, and realising the number of interests wanting to experience the Hijrah Ride, this gave us the opportunity to arrange again and share our spiritual experience with more riders whilst remembering who we are fundraising for, our brothers, sisters and children in Palestine. 

I had the privilege of completing the Hijra Ride this year. After returning and witnessing the impact of the funds we raised for Gaza, as well as the growing interest from others, I have decided to take part in the ride again—this time, also supporting new riders.

In my youth, I was part of a youth group that organized an exchange trip to Palestine. That experience left a lasting impact on me, and since then, I have always aspired to participate in a meaningful fundraiser for Palestine.

Now, I am embarking on the Hijra Ride once again to follow in the blessed footsteps of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) along his Hijrah route.

I participated in the last year's Hijra Ride it was an amazing experience ..combining the spiritual ritual of Umrah and then cycling between the two holy cities was just epic especially with my cycling brothers ..and I want to experience this again .. and top this all to ride and raise funds for am amazing worthy cause is my reason to re join this ride .

I was blessed to ride in January 2025 ..... due to the immense success we have a new group of riders who will be joining us in January 2026 .. i could not miss out on riding with such an amazing group for my 2nd Hijrah ride. ... The Hijrah ride brings together people from all communities, building friendships through cycling , Palestine has always been close to our hearts and the children and parents need our support more than any other... This is one humanity... One ummah our children of Palestine ... We will ride for you and be with you.

Coming from a family of orphans and our beloved prophet pbuh being an orphan, this journey holds a special close place to my heart.

Being able to be part of this auspicious Journey and serve the guests of our beloved prophet pbuh couldn't have been a more blessed project, i am honoured to be a part of. 

It's always been my passion to follow the path of Nabi SAW so I was honoured to take part in the Hijrah ride in January 2025.

It was one of the most rewarding and enjoyable experiences I've ever had. The feeling of providing khidmah for the riders from start to finish is just unexplainable.

Having given the chance to do it all again next year, I felt privileged to take this opportunity.

I’m joining the Hijrah Ride as a support person because I believe in the power of intention, unity and service. While I may not be cycling myself, supporting those who are striving in the path of good is an honour and a responsibility.

I’m taking on a tough cycling challenge—something I’ve never done before—as a grandad with a mission. I may not be a seasoned cyclist, but I’m pushing my limits to raise vital funds for the suffering people of Palestine. Every mile I ride is for those who have lost so much, enduring unimaginable hardship. This is more than just a bike ride; it’s a show of solidarity, a commitment to making a difference, and a call for compassion. For years, I have watched the Hijrah Ride with admiration, yearning for the day I could embark on this sacred journey myself. In 2025, witnessing the unwavering determination of the brothers who completed the ride ignited a fire within me—I knew my time had come. 

This is more than just a ride. It is a journey of faith, resilience, and sacrifice, retracing the footsteps of our beloved Prophet (PBUH) from Makkah to Madinah. With every pedal, we honour his legacy, we push beyond our limits, and we unite as one Ummah. 

But this ride carries a deeper purpose. It is a call to action. A pledge of solidarity. Our brothers and sisters in Palestine need us now more than ever. Their struggles are our struggles. Their children are our children. Their pain is our pain. 

We ride for them. We ride with them in our hearts. Because this is one humanity. One Ummah. And we will not turn away.

Cycling from Makkah to Madina is a meaningful journey that symbolizes spiritual devotion and physical endurance, as it allows me to connect deeply with the sacred sites and reflect on the significance of these holy cities in Islam. This pilgrimage not only demonstrates my commitment to faith and self-discipline but also provides an opportunity for personal growth, mindfulness, and a profound sense of community with fellow travellers who share the same spiritual goals. The journey is a testament to perseverance and devotion, transforming what could be a simple trip into an inspiring act of faith and self-discovery.

Doing the Hijrah ride to follow the footsteps of our beloved prophet SAW peace and blessings be upon him, by cycling from Makkah To Madina it will give experience of how it would be like in early days or close as possible. The ride will also the greatest challenge I've taken so far. 

Riding in the beautiful streets of Saudi Arabia with like-minded and motivated people. I'm particularly keen to cycle across the same route our beloved Prophet Mohammad PBUH has taken on the Hijrah (migration) and also perform Umrah at our sacred site. 

I feel honoured and fortunate at being selected for riding this special journey between the 2 holy cities. Its great opportunity for me to experience a little glimpse of the journey our beloved Prophet SAW once undertook.

For me there are many benefits in doing this challenge, both spiritually and physically, but also to raise much needed funds for the people of the 3rd holiest masjid in Palestine is an added bonus.

Assalamu Alaikum to all, Alhamdulillah after a successful journey off the Hijrah (2025) ride from Makkah to Madina. The spiritual and emotional connectivity along the paths was beyond imagination and the brotherhood of doing the ride was something I will remember for the rest of my life. It was amazing what we raised for Gaza and felt we still have a lot of work still to be done, to bring back the normalisation of lives of orphans and children of Palestine.

I have seen the life in Gaza and feel very heart broken .I have decided to do the hijra ride to raise money and awareness about the daily struggles they encounter

Would like to experience the blessed journey our Rasūlullāh SAW took from Makkah to Madinah, with his companion Abū Bakr RA, seeing the places he went past and Insha Allah appreciating all those who made this difficult journey at the most trying of times.  At the same time helping to raise funds for those in need, and Insha Allah encouraging others to also spend their time and efforts in helping others.  And finally an opportunity to visit the blessed House of Allāh SWT and performing ‘Umrah is always a blessing and culminating in being able to present my Salāms in the court of Rasūlullāh SAW is a journey I look forward to and pray that Allāh SWT Accepts. 

Alhamdulillah this opportunity is once in a lifetime on the cycling journey from Makkah sharif to Madina sharif allows me to follow in the footsteps of Prophet Mohammed S.A.W. while enjoying my passion for cycling.  After speaking to Saeed about his adventures of Hijrah'25, Hijrah'26 is an opportunity of a dream coming through of riding into Madina Sharif on a bike to meet the Best of mankind Hazoor Nabi e Kareem Mustafa Sallallahu Alaihi Wasalam. 

Alhamdulillah, this gives me goosebumps just thinking about. 

To top this off, the ride will be done in aid of Palestine... What a fantastic cause to raise thousands of pounds!

After witnessing the devastating and horrific acts that have consumed Palestine. I immediately became inspired to take part and contribute to this cause in order to help the people in Palestine. The people that are suffering are not just numbers but individual people whose lives, hopes and dreams have been completely shattered. I would like to contribute to this great charity cause as I know it will (inshallah) make an enormous difference in reigniting some of this hope in restoring their lives. Me and all the team hope to contribute to this change by doing this little deed

Alhamdulillah for the unique opportunity to perform Umrah and  cycle from one blessed city to another. The journey will be of  endurance and great strength, insignificant compared to what our  beloved Prophet SAW encountered as we retrace his noble  footsteps. It is a privilege to raise much needed funds for our  Palestinian brothers and sisters, doing what little we can to help  them during their time of need.

The Hijrah Ride is deeply significant to me for two main reasons.  As a relatively new cyclist, this journey offers me the chance to  traverse a route blessed by the footsteps of our beloved Prophet  Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم. Having visited this sacred land multiple times. This  year, it also takes on a personal meaning as I ride in memory of my  late father, who passed away while training for this event. His  commitment to this cause inspires me to honour his legacy through  my journey. Additionally, I want to reflect on the struggles faced by  the children of Gaza, which we often see in the news. While it may  feel like we can do little, I hope that,إن شاء هللا , by raising even a small  amount, we can contribute to supporting these orphans in their  time of need. This ride is not just a personal challenge; it's a chance  to unite our efforts for a greater cause and make a difference in the  lives of those who need it most. 

I want to do something to raise awareness and funds for the people of Palestine. The Hijrah ride is a great opportunity to do so.  May Allah swt accept our small efforts.

I began cycling during the pandemic to keep fit and healthy since  then I’ve done various charity bike rides to raise money for several  charities to help the people and children of Palestine, Gaza,  Lebanon and Many more. The Hijra ride is the ultimate charity bike  ride I want to complete, to ride the blessed lands our prophet (pbuh)  undertook. I’ll have the opportunity to complete an umrah and ride  300 miles from Makkah to Madinah to raise funds for Palestine  Insha Allah. Insha’Allah this will be my 2nd year of doing this ride. I still  remember how emotional and spiritual this ride was for me. This is  a great cause which will give Palestine some hope. We live in a  society where people can feed and support themselves. When you  support others who are not blood related and who don’t have the  same opportunity as you…then in my eyes that is called true living  where the true connection is through humanity. 

Aid to the mankind who really needs the help and who are suffering  from medical conditions. 

I am blessed to be taking part in this fantastic fundraiser, two folds,  firstly, and most importantly, I am helping our brothers, sisters and  children in Palestine with essential aid and care. We are no  strangers to what the Palestinians have endured, and it is the duty  of every one of us to support them in any way possible.  

Secondly, it has been a dream of mine to follow in the footsteps of  some of the greatest people ever lived.

I am undertaking the Hijrah Ride to support our brothers and sisters  suffering in Palestine and to honour the memory of my dear brother  Shazad, who sadly passed away in preparation for Hijrah 2025. This  journey is also a spiritual one, as I aim to perform Umrah and visit  the holy city of Madinah, following in the footsteps of our beloved  Prophet (peace be upon him). May Allah accept our efforts and  grant ease to those in need. 

I want to help the people of Gaza because I believe in the  fundamental right of ALL people to live in peace and dignity. 

The humanitarian crisis in Gaza demands urgent attention and  assistance. 

By providing aid to Gaza, we can contribute to alleviating the  suffering of people living there.

I have been blessed the opportunity once again to participate in a  truly remarkable journey - Hijrah 2026.  

Firstly, I am able to follow the blessed route and footsteps of our  beloved Prophet Muhammad “صلى الله عليه وسلم “once again.  

This is more than a dream come true.  

Secondly, we see the pain our brothers and sisters face in Gaza  daily, the least we can do to help is raise awareness and donate  even a little amount to help them through these testing times.  

May Allah Ta'ala accept all our efforts.

3 years ago, a dear friend from Pedlaz cc introduced me to cycling  after the sudden loss of my father. Since then, I made it my mission  to ride each year for charitable and humanitarian causes. Last year  I was truly inspired after following the journey of brothers  completing Hijra 2025. I feel privileged and honoured to partake in  such a blessed ride, combined with Umrah, raising much needed  funds for Palestine and retracing the Hijra route completed by our  beloved prophet (SAW). 

I'm embarking on a once in a lifetime opportunity to cycle on the  blessed lands of Makkah & Madina. Being part of the Hijra is truly  an honour that I never imagined I could get to experience. The  cause behind this ride is very close to my heart, and being able to  help our brothers and sisters whom are suffering gives me a sense  of fulfilment, spiritually and emotionally. Really excited about the  opportunity to join like-minded individuals, share experiences, and  build lasting relationships. It’s going to be an immensely  meaningful journey. 

May Allah make this an amazing ride for everyone and in doing so  ensure our efforts help protect our brothers and sisters in Palestine.

I think it shall be an honour to serve the dedicated riders who are  embarking on a deeply spiritual ride. The Hijrah was a key moment  in our history as an ummah. It is a story of conviction in Allah,  strategy, vulnerability, relief, and the victory from Allah manifesting.  I pray we can reflect on the implications of this point in our past,  and return home as different people with the blessings of Allah. 

Alhamdulillah’s, I am really delighted and honoured to get this  opportunity to support the cyclists in this amazing Hijra trip for  second time in a row, who are fundraising for the most noble cause. 

I am ever so thankful to Allah swt and the team for granting me this  opportunity to be able to travel on the same route that our beloved  prophet Muhammad PBUH travelled 1447 years ago. 

The opportunity to perform Umrah and to visit the blessed cities of  Makkah Mukarramah and Medina Munawarrah is a blessings.

Since the beginning of the war in Gaza, my friends and I have been  thinking about what we could do to help change the situation, but  we’ve always felt too small to make a difference. What you are  doing as cyclists is truly inspiring, and I feel very lucky and happy to  have the opportunity to join you in supporting this beautiful initiative  and its humanitarian purpose.

The hijra of the prophet (saw) to Madina was a pivotal moment in  Islamic history - marking the start of the Islamic calendar and  leaving the Muslim Ummah with many great lessons, which still  resonate with us today.  

I intended to join the 2025 Hijra ride but instead I was blessed with  the opportunity to visit Al Aqsa itself so wasn't able to take part.  When I was given the rare chance to provide khidmah to the 2026  hijra riders, I simply could not turn it down and knew it was a  blessing from Allah. 

Cycling the Hijra route is a great achievement and takes  tremendous bravery, dedication, and commitment - all for one of  the greatest causes of the modern day; to support our brothers and  sisters in Palestine.
