Group Ride & Coordination

A selected group of riders have been appointed to help ensure the Hijrah Ride runs smoothly and safely. These individuals will rotate between key roles — Ride Leaders, Middle Markers, and Back Markers — throughout the journey. All participants must remain attentive to their guidance at all times, as they are responsible for maintaining group cohesion, safety, and communication.

• Ride Leaders set the pace and guide the group along the planned route. They make real-time decisions, signal hazards, and ensure the ride stays on track and inclusive.

• Middle Markers help maintain the structure of the group by bridging communication between the front and rear. They monitor spacing, support riders mid-pack, and relay important updates.

Back Markers ensure no rider is left behind. They assist with mechanical issues, check on slower riders, and coordinate with the rest of the team to adjust pace or regroup when necessary.
